He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ellingson and RoseAlma Ellingson (Gervais); and his siblings, Patsy Swedlund, Janice Ellingson, Christine Ellingson and Mylan Ellingson.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Ellingson and Shelley Gibbons (Matt); the mother of his children Margaret Ellingson; his grandchildren, Ryan Ellingson, Matthew Gibbons (Nicole), Lindsay Mauren (Tony) and Mitchell Gibbons (Pilar Varela); his great grandchild Ila Gibbons; and his siblings, Sylvia Lund (Jerry), Yvonne Bruett, Lowell Ellingson (Sherri) and Stella Ellingson. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mueller-Bies - Roseville Chapel (2130 Dale St N, Roseville, MN 55113). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Crooked Pint Ale House (1734 Adolphus St, Maplewood, MN 55117).
