While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Petersen and Vivian Petersen of Champlin, Minnesota.; his wife Karen; and his brother Fred. He is survived by: his sister Barbara; and his children, Bobby Petersen (Beth) and Brenda Daudt (Gary). He is also survived by four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home (2005 Branch Ave, Anoka, MN 55303). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Patrick's Cemetery (19921 Nightingale St NW, Oak Grove, MN 55011).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Midwest.
