He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Birgin and Patricia Birgin; and his brothers, Thomas and Mark Birgin. He is survived by: his wife Shelly; his sons, Matt (Samantha) and Derek (Kelsey); his grandchildren, Stella, Emerson and Camden; and his sisters, Debbie Birgin and Theresa Lucus (Chris). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home (34 2nd St NE, Osseo, MN 55369). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
