He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Johanna Smith (Lolkus); his siblings, Adrian and Nancy Smith; his brother-in-law Harold Welgraven; and his nephew Heath Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Karen (Beckering). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Reformed Church (80 Carlton Ave, Chandler, MN 56122). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
