He was predeceased by: his parents, Ingvald Berg and Lillie Berg; and his sister Stella Koehntop. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Renee McLain (Quinn), Douglas Berg (Laura) and Daniel Berg; his grandchildren, Mattias and Clarista Berg; and his sister Ione Brown.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Living Christ Lutheran Church Legacy Fund.
