Janet M. Davis Obituary

We announce the death of Janet M. Davis of Chanhassen, Minnesota, who passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 87. Janet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Axel Erickson and Elizabeth Erickson (Folden); her brothers, Robert Erickson and Ray Erickson; her sisters-in-law, Lorna Erickson, Marie Erickson and Verna Erickson; her in-laws, Tex Davis and Eliza Davis; her siblings-in-law, John Davis, Anita Tinjum and Mary Davidson; and her great grandchild Quinn Davison.

She is survived by: her husband Bob Davis; her children, Jeanie Dreger, Patti Ferguson (Tony), Jim Davis (Rochelle) and Paul Davis; her brother Jim Erickson; her brother-in-law Ronnie Davis (Alice); her grandchildren, Amy Dreger (Oskars), Tim Dreger (Amber), Kayla Davison (Brad), Joey Ferguson (Rachael), Trey Davis, Joslyn Davis and Gage Davis; and her great grandchildren, Addilynn Dreger, Kaylee Dreger, Bergen Stucis, Aksel Stucis, Hope Davison, Elena Davison, Beau Ferguson and Rosie Ferguson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.

March of 2020 brought some health issues, along with the pandemic, which required Jan to move in with her daughter Patti and son-in-law Tony in Chanhassen.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family will give memorials to Someplace Safe and other women's shelters.
