He was predeceased by: his father Robert Schwichtenberg; his wife Darlene Schwichtenberg; and his brother-in-law Ken Fahey. He is survived by: his mother Vernetta Schwichtenberg; his daughters, Tanya Stolp (Sam), Courtney Shiring (Casey), Tiffany Halverson (Karsten), Katelyn Schwichtenberg and Bridget Schwichtenberg; his granddaughters, Lyanna, Noelle Stolp and Aífe Shiring; his parents-in-law, Ken and Theresa Fahey; his siblings, Dale Schwichtenberg (Lynn) and Beth Pogatchnik (Joe); and his siblings-in-law, Paul Fahey (Mary), Doug Fahey (Julie) and Deb Schwichtenberg (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christ Victorious Lutheran Church (9860 Shady Oak Dr, Chaska, MN 55318). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be given to organizations that were meaningful to Bruce and his family.
