She was predeceased by : her parents, Collins Rief and Ardis Rief (Peterson); her husband Doug of John's Lutheran Church; her grandson William Luecke; her siblings, Michael, Timothy Rief, LuAnn Rief and Cheryl Gruenhagen; her brother-in-law Keith Anderson; her niece Amanda Rief; and her nephews, Ryan Rief and Nick Rief.

She is survived by : her children, Josh Kloos (Elizabeth) of Chaska and Misty Luecke (Todd) of Chanhassen; her stepchildren, Jason Kloos (Katie) of Edina and Terry Kloos (Kristi) of DeForest, WI; her grandchildren, Hayden, Vivian, Evelyn, Roslyn Kloos, Alexis, Elliot Luecke, Hannah, Zach and Cassidy Kloos; and her siblings, Collins Rief, Stephen Rief (Connie), Christopher Rief, Patrick Rief (Terry), Brenda Efta (Charles) and Allen Gruenhagen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
