He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Richards and Joyce Richards (Radtke). He is survived by: his wife Vickie Strunk (Adams); his children, Ashley Richards (Drew) of Prior Lake, Jeffrey Jr. of Bloomington and Kailey Richards (Parker) of Richfield; his stepchildren, Ryan Strunk of Belle Plaine and Kali Klehr (Matt) of Shakopee; and his brothers, John Richards (Diane) of Savage and Jim Richards (Erika) of Prior Lake. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, niece and nephews and countless friends.
