He is survived by: his mother Lorraine Carpenter (Wolters) of Mankato; his children, Adam Carpenter of Eagle Lake, Amy Sorensen (Jaymes) of Mankato, Christa Judkins (Alexander) of Mankato and Matt Carpenter of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Cora, Lydia, Ruby, Benjamin Judkins, Emily and Elliot Sorensen; his siblings, Leonard Carpenter (Mary Kay) of Eagle Lake, Patricia Howe (Brad) of Golden Valley and Sue Maraval (Jean) of Columbia, SC; his friend Char Jeurissen of Waconia; and his cousins, Michael Hass and Judith Batzel. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
