He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kroening and Lillian Kroening (Poppitz); his son Steven Schenten; his sister Joan; and his brother-in-law Kieth Geske.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Schenten; his son Paul Schenten (Bridget); his grandchildren, Peyton Schenten (Abbie) and Alex Schenten (Angie); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Ditsch (Mary) of St. Bonifacius, Delrose Braegelmann (Fred) of Victoria, Betty Henry of Amery, WI and Jynene Ditsch of Bloomington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lake Auburn Moravian Church (7460 Victoria Dr, Victoria, MN 55386). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
