She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Ramaker and Helen Ramaker (Unterburger); her husband Roger "Skip" Rief; and her sisters, La Vearl, Dolly and Tuddy.

She is survived by : her daughters, Janelle Rief of Victoria and Jolene Spencer (Timothy) of Victoria; her grandchildren, Bryan Haasken (Tata), Jessica O'Brian (Colin), Kristi Herrmann (Cory), Conlan Spencer and Nicholas Loots; her great grandchild Xander; her siblings, Gladys Busch, Shirley Lambrecht, Darlene Kerber and James Ramaker (Jeanne); and her sister-in-law Joan Rief. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
