Lyle Gordon Swanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, at the age of 88, Lyle Gordon Swanson of Chaska, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar G. Swanson and Anna M. Glein Swanson; his grandson Ray Zepeda; his great grandchild Michael Zepeda; his in-law Wallace "Bubs" Lund; his son-in-law Leonard Zepeda; his brother Marlin "Mark" Swanson; and his in-laws, Evelyn Lund, Jim Krautbauer and Iris Lund.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Mae Lund of Alzheimer's Association; his children, Cindy Bowgren (Jeff) of St. Charles, Mark Swanson (Carol) of Chaska and Tammy Zepeda of Dunlay, Texas; his grandchildren, Terry Bowgren, Teresa Swanson, Kelsey Swanson, Monica Zepeda, Willie Zepeda (Julie Schott) and Angelica DeWitt (Nik); his great grandchildren, Aubrie, Jaymes, Brett, Jaylin, Alyssa, Maurida, Geoffrey, Rey, Malerie, AnaLeise, Joshua, Easton and Eliot; his great great grandchildren, Jesenia, Jose, Monika, Gabriella, Isabella, Aria, Cipriano, Michael, Elsea, Elailee and Ezekiel; his sisters, Delores "Dee" Krautbauer, Phyllis Lacroix (Bill) and Joan Carrier (Allen); and his in-laws, Dale Lund (Jeanne), Robert Lund (Gerrie) and Nancy Stauner (George).
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish (680 Mill St, Shorewood, MN 55331). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
