He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Veum and Jeanette Veum; his brother Douglas Veum; and his sisters-in-law, Cindy Veum and Annie Veum.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Jason (Jennifer), Aaron (Lindsey) and Mindy; his grandchildren, Josephine, Matthew and Jocelyn; his siblings, James Veum, Patty Anderson (Lonnie) and Kenny Veum; and his sister-in-law Rochelle Veum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Carver-Scott Humane Society.
