He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ball and Margaretha Ball (Heins); his wife Margaret Paulson; and his siblings, Gordon, Margaret, Earl, Irving and Katherine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Janicek (Mark) of Jordan, Sharon Burris (Ronald) of Antioch, TN and Kathy Heath (Garey) of Chaska; his grandchildren, Emily Gorman (David), Jessica Wilson (Kent) and Jeff Kelly (Jules Leasure); and his great grandchildren, Delilah Gorman and Ainsley Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
