It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Rain (Chatfield, Minnesota), born in Cresco, Iowa, who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Greenslade and Lorraine Greenslade (Bakken); her son Jamie Turner; her grandson Jared Pederson; and her sister Kathy Showman.

She is survived by : her former life partner Lynn Dale Turner; her husband Scott Vernon Rain; her daughters, Shawn LaPlante (Jeff), Michelle Pederson (Michael) and Melanie Cylkowski (Chad); her grandchildren, Chantel, Joshua (Jayme LaPlante), Mariah, MaKayla (Macy Pederson) and Anthony (Anna Cylkowski); and her siblings, Sharon Vagts (Ken), Ron Greenslade (Karen), Dean Greenslade (Char), Randy Greenslade (Shari) and Karen Van De (Phil). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
