We announce the death of Gary Daniels (Chatfield, Minnesota), who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 80. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donovan Daniels (Don) and Gloria Daniels (Schroeder). He is survived by: his wife Judi Diemer; his children, Beth Storhoff (Steve) of Lanesboro, MN, Derek Daniels (Beth) of Jonesboro, AR, Jason Daniels (Denise) of Chatfield, MN and Amy Turner (Scott) of Mantorville, MN; his grandchildren, Wilson Storhoff, Parker Storhoff, Jensyn Storhoff, Drew Daniels, Lindsay Daniels, McKenna Daniels, Carter Daniels, Teagan Allen and Tatum Allen; his stepgrandchildren, Ella Perry and Bruce Perry; and his sister Sheriann Vail (Vic) of Lewiston, MN. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (128 Fillmore St SE, Chatfield, MN 55923). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Joy Ridge Event Center (273 Mill Creek Rd NW, Chatfield, MN 55923).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association (https://pages.heart.org), St. Paul Lutheran Church, or the Chosen Valley Care Center Van Fund. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
