She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiller Holien and Elsie Holien (Wiedow); her husbands, Richard Musel and Carl Thorson; her grandson Jeremy Walters; and her siblings, Vivian Ramlo, Joanne Hanson and Hiller Holien.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Thorson (Katie), Shelley Hilsman (Dean), Lori Walters (Rick) and Thor Thorson (Cathy); her grandchildren, Adam Thorson (Sarah), Travis Thorson (Lindsay), Graham Thorson, Carol Thorson, Rebecca Dempster (Cory), Wesley Mross (Claire), Jordan Walters (Emily), Amanda Hilsman and Michelle Rhode (Jonathan); her siblings, Irene Ladenberg, Marlyn Hanson and Robert Holien; and her close friend Ione. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chatfield Lutheran Church (304 Fillmore St SE, Chatfield, MN 55923). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
