He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Griffin and Pearl Griffin (Finley); his wife Carol Asleson; and his siblings, Rita Gimbert and Lyle Griffin.

He is survived by : his sons, Greg Griffin (Sally) of Rochester and Geoff Griffin (Monica) of Chatfield; his grandchildren, Amanda Rooney (Jason), Lindsay Ristau (Tanner) and Grant Griffin; and his great grandchildren, Sage, Oliver, Huck and Slade.
