With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene J. Smith of Chisago City, Minnesota, who passed away on July 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marlene J. Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel. She is survived by: her children, Dan Smith (Sue), Douglas Smith (Doreen) and Diane; her grandchildren, Kevin, Tommy of DeAndra, D. J. and Madalynn; her great grandchildren, Owen, Maverick and Luna; and her siblings, Mary Lou Klepperich, Marcia Thompson (Terry) and Michael Franz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church (13060 Lake Blvd, Lindstrom, MN 55045). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials preferred to St. Jude.
