He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Russ and Mary Russ (Mehelich); his in-laws, Peter and Jennie Taramelli; and his siblings-in-law, Enrico, David Taramelli and Elsie Jean Taramelli.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Taramelli; his brother William Russ (Jeanne); his siblings-in-law, Bill Taramelli (Shirley) and Janis Taramelli (David Bartholomay); his nephews, Gregory Russ (Vicki) and Kyle Bartholomay; his niece Kathy (Dan Sprenger); and his caregiver Kristina. He is also survived by cousins, great nieces and nephews.
