She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Blazina and Frances Blazina (Benz); her husband Stanley J. Mlakar; and her siblings, John, Emil "Chink", Rudy Blazina and Olga Sartori.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Mlakar (Patti), Patrick Mlakar (Lisa), David Mlakar (Lisa), Joan Luke (Milton) and Susan Rice (Gary). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel (205 1st St NW, Chisholm, MN 55719). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, or to Cornerstone Villa for their activity department.
