He was predeceased by: his parents, George Champa and Bernadine Champa (Vukich); his wife Lenore; his brother George Champa Jr.; his great grandchild Carter Champa; and his great-niece Amber Rose Champa.
He is survived by: his children, Craig and Stacy Champa; his siblings, Annette Thompson (Chuck), Suzanne Schultz (Joe), John Champa (Mary), Amy Fiester (Nick) and David Champa (Jody); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Hunter Champa, Kassandra Putney, Ash and Brittney Sanders; and his friends, Jerry McGlaughlin and Carrie Briski. He is also survived by children, nieces, nephews extended relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel (205 1st St NW, Chisholm, MN 55719). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
