Esther leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Esther’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Esther will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl A. Peterson and Lois Peterson (Barker). She is survived by: her brother Roger (Jeanne Peterson); her in-laws, Bill and Lu Steuck; and her nieces, Jonnie Gridley of Pleasant Hill, CA, Lorrie Mariner of Couperville, WA, Karen Holland of Sacramento, CA and Maureen Farrell of Vacaville, CA. She is also survived by relatives, and Tim Kampmeier and his sons.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (400 2nd St E, Chokio, MN 56221). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
