She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Halls and Geoline Halls (Hollen); her husband Delroy Walter Quale; her son James; and her brothers, Wallace, Ralph, Norris, Marvin and Robert Jr..

She is survived by : her son Gary; her grandchildren, Gary Quale (Gail) of Lake Lillian, Geri Kling of Willmar, Gwen Lohrke (Lee) of Cape Coral, FL, Brian Carnes (Julie) of Vadnais Heights, Sonia Klukas of Alexandria, VA, Barbara Quale of Minneapolis, Peter Quale (Michelle) of Minneapolis and Lisa Shannon (Zack); her great grandchildren, Alexis Cave (Christopher) of Willmar, Zachary, Ali Carnes of Vadnais Heights, Tessa, Emma, Simon Quale of Minneapolis and Livia Shannon; her close friend Bud Gravley (Wilbert) of New London; her sisters, Joyce Pederson of St. Paul and Delaine Coleman of Forest Lake; and her sisters-in-law, Carol and Adie Halls.
