He is survived by: his children, Lyle Koenen (Sandy) of Clara City, Kurt Koenen (Maria) of Clara City, Karla Schwendemann (Rob) of Watson and Paul Koenen (Lynnette) of Clara City; his grandson Joseph Harker (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Shiann and Logan; his grandson Eric Harker (Melanie); his great grandchildren, Liberty, Axl and Billy; his grandson Levi Koenen (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Lucas and Sunniva; his grandchildren, Isaac Koenen and Shawn Koenen (Naomi); his great grandchildren, Alison, Elizabeth Heida (Tyler) and Sadie; his grandson Joshua Koenen (Shannon); his great grandchildren, Kolten, Quinton, Matthew Koenen (Brittany), Jaden Schwendemann (Holly), Kaleb Schwendemann (Jessica), Brittany Gordon (Keith), Rebeka Scepaniak (John), Patrick Demo (Tami), Melisa Cantwell (Bobby) and Chris Kingsley (Alicia); his siblings, Shirley Schnell, Harvey Koenen (LaRae) and Carol Kaupang; Kendall, Asher, Emeric, Oliver, Skyler, Emma, Jakobie, Elsa, Esmae, Emersyn, Evelyn, Cecilia, Elias, Ivan, Nora, Sven, Madilynn Johnson (Titus), Noah, Levi and Lindsey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Bethany Reformed Church (222 Main St, Clara City, MN 56222). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
