He was predeceased by : his parents, Art Dieken and Marion Dieken (Gerdes); his parents-in-law, Dwain and Phyllis Olson; and his sister Kathy Niemeyer.
He is survived by : his wife Geraldine Olson; his children, Allan Dieken (Emily) of Clara City and Cheryl Colby (Mike) of Clara City; his grandchildren, Dominick Dieken (Tessa) of Prinsburg, Jasmine Colby (Tanner) of Willmar, Leia of Clara City, Paityn Colby of Clara City, Elizabeth Wallace-Klein of Clara City and Ethan Dieken of Clara City; his great grandchild Hudson Dieken; his sister Karen Bents (Jerry) of New London; his brother-in-law Daryl Niemeyer of Clara City; his sisters, Pauline Sager (Mike) of Burnsville and Colleen Marcus (Al) of Redwood Falls; and his aunt Virginia Dieken of Naples, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
