He was predeceased by: his wife Heidi Meyer; his sister Linda Meyer; and his grandparents, Walter Meyer, Meta Frietag, Laurel and Dorothy Forrest.

He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Meyer and Sandra Meyer of Hackensack, MN; his sister Lisa Mergen of Albany, MN; his children, Derek (Amanda), Samantha (Steve), Cory (Zoe) and Ethan (Jalynn); and his grandson Marley Meyer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valley Lutheran Church (312 U. S. Hwy 71, Clarissa, MN 56440). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Woodman Cemetery.
