He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Sr. Klemek and Minnie Klemek (Thoennes); his wife Mary Hennagir of Edward's Catholic Church; his son Barry Klemek; his siblings, Mammie Doll, Lucy Johnson, Irene Klemek, Ervin Klemek, Ellsworth Klemek, Alton Klemek and Anthony Klemek; and his parents-in-law, Chet and Ruthie Hennagir.
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Marilyn) of Bertha and Karen Walgren (Paul) of Clarissa, MN; his daughter-in-law Robin Klemek of Deer Creek; his brother Lawrence Klemek of Eagle Bend; and his grandchildren, Matthew Klemek, Megan Dolezal, Michael Klemek, Brandon Klemek, Christopher Klemek and Jacob Walgren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church - Clarissa (105 John St S, Clarissa, MN 56440). A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Edward Catholic Cemetery (101 Douglas Ave, Henning, MN 56551).
