David Leland Evans Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Leland Evans of Clarks Grove, Minnesota, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdun Hanson and Hazel Hanson (Mann); his son Bryon Evans; his grandson Derrick Evans; and his siblings, Leo Evans and Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Evans of Clarks Grove; his children, Chad Evans (Kris) of McGregor, Mary Hager (Brett) of Albert Lea, Lucas Rutanen (Amanda) of Grand Rapids and Leah Delaske (Dustin) of Waterville; his grandchildren, Mason Evans, Zachary Scheurer (Chelsea), Gracie Delaske, Shance Southard, Kenadie Delaske, Freya and Astrid Rutanen; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Blair Scheurer; his sisters, Judith Lang of Sturgis, SD and Jackie DuBussy (Jack) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his sister-in-law Elfriede Evans of Rochester. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery (715 US-52, Preston, MN 55965).
