He was predeceased by: his father Charles "Jerry" Cox; his son Jeffrey Bernard Cox; his granddaughter Ava Johnson; his grandparents, Earl, Alice Cox, Harold and Eleanor Hesley; and his parents-in-law, Bernard and Rosella Graning.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia Cox (Patty); his wife Karen Sarah Graning; his daughters, Jessica Iten (Pete), Sarah Johnson (Zac), Katie Buesgens (Aaron) and Leah Cox (Caleb); his grandchildren, Layla, Mya, Olivia, Charlotte, Chloe, Aaron Jr., Finley, Bo, Prairie, Eve and Faye; and his siblings, Tom Cox (Jackie), Tammy Kruchten (Bob), Jon Cox (Bev) and Joe Cox (Krissy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Santiago Lutheran Church (14675 37th St SE, Clear Lake, MN 55319). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
