Verlie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Verlie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Verlie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Zelinsky and Lola Zelinsky (Jedlicka); her husband John Lorch; and her sisters, Fran Tymchuck (Sam) and Jean Twogood (Louie).
She is survived by: her children, James (Heather), Kelley (Mark), Yaeger (Ham Lake), Nancy Rae (North Branch) and Daniel Lorch (Jen) of Draper, UT; and her sibling Arnie (Karen) Zelinsky. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel (250 W Broadway St, Monticello, MN 55362). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
