He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet M. Stemper (Carlstrom) and Clifford P. Peterson; his siblings, Anne Marie Miller Schmidt, Barbara Stemper, Nicholas "Nick" J. and Donald E; his niece Cheryl Ann Giese; and his nephew Todd Stemper.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Kruse of Cleveland; his daughter Barbara Salazar (James) of Tularosa, NM; and his grandchildren, Cheyann Bartram of Tularosa, NM, David Bartram of Tularosa, NM and Tyrell Bartram of Midland, TX. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
