It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Louise Ely of Cleveland, Minnesota, who passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gehrke and Geraldine Gehrke (Berg); her husband Clinton Ely (Bud); her in-laws, Sherman and Lela Ely; her son James; her sister June Klema (Emil); and her in-laws, Barb Gehrke, Clarence Moravac, Marian, Reuben Nyberg, Ken, Mildren Grice, Lola, Vernon Norris, Harry, Alice Ely, Willis, Ardis Ely, Mavis and Roger O'Malley.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Ely of Cleveland, MN; her daughter-in-law Deb Ely of Madison Lake, MN; her grandchildren, Vince Anderson, Amanda Morsching (Jeremy) and Elsa Ely; her siblings, Betty Moravec, Linda Alitz, Carl Gehrke, Edwin Gehrke (Lois) and Jack Gehrke (Mary); and her aunt MaryAnn Holicky. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
