He was predeceased by: his parents, Delford Krenik and Adeline Krenik (Fahning); his brother Lauris; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Lindhart, George Witty, Tom Witty and Roger Schilling.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Witty of St. Peter; his children, Michelle Smith (Shon) of St. Peter, Julie Dittrich (Tony) of North Mankato and Tim Krenik (Stephanie Priesz) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Zach, Emma Smith, Isabella, Max, Sam Krenik, Zac and Josh Dittrich; his sisters, Kareen Daby (Lee) of Lake Washington and Norma Lindhart of Austin, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Witty (Joanne), Richard, Buz Witty (Marlene) of St. Peter, Jim Witty (Joan) of New Prague, Nancy Krenik of Lake Washington, Darlyne Schilling of New Brighton, Marilyn Witty and Jeanne Witty of St. Peter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cleveland Church of Christ (900 MN-99, Cleveland, MN 56017). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cleveland Church of Christ, the Cleveland School Booster Club or to cancer research.
