He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Modec and Mary Modec; his wife Susan Modec; and his daughter Katie Hall. He is survived by: his daughter Christine Bondi (Michael); his brother Tom Modec; and his grandchildren, Lauren Bondi, Abigail Bondi, Sydney Bondi, Alex Hall and Maggie Hall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Denny was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and was active with the Cloquet Education Foundation and the Cloquet Country Club.
