The memory of Donna Mecl of Cloquet, Minnesota, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Holmes and Evelyn Holmes (Johnson); her husband Edward Mecl; her grandson Ryan Nelson; and her brother Gerald Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Mecl (Jackie Burger), Becky Davidson (Wesley), Judy Nelson (Keith) and Glen Mecl (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Eddie, William (Anthony), Matthew (Nichole), Christopher (Bekki), Chad (Kelly), Carly and Cory; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Parker, Henrik and Ingrid; her siblings, Barbara Overvig, Richard Holmes, Betty Running (Eugene) and Rodney Holmes (Suzie); and her cousin Christine Merritt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
In honor of Donna's memory, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
