He is survived by: his wife Marlene Trettel; his son-in-law David Wait; his sister-in-law Bonnie Welton; his cousins, Sandy Angell (Marty), Daryl Niemi (Carol), Terry Niemi (Frances), Bobby Johnson (Janet), Maija Lipponen (Kali) and Linda Johnson Edwards; and his nieces, Breanna, Maija and Lisee.
