We announce the death of Jacob L. Greensky of Cloquet, Minnesota, who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 74. Jacob will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Jacob "Jake" Leonard Greensky; his siblings, Jacqueline Pederson, Myrtle Soukkala, Hope "Too-Too" Copa, Faye Ann Greensky, Elsie Greensky, Gil Greensky and Daniel Porter; his son-in-law Ron Willis; and his cousin Jay Star.
He is survived by: his mother Katherine "Katie" Olson (Porter); his children, Kerry "Mooshkin" Greensky, Dana Leonard Greensky (Katy), Jacy Christopher Greensky (Kari Stroik), Brendan James Greensky (Nikki), James Jon Greensky (Kasey), Raymond Jacob Greensky (Patricia), Amber Dawn Greensky (Sean Clark), Crystal Dawn Greensky, Wayneabooshoo Biindige Giizhig Greensky (Kendra) and ZhaaZhaawaanong Nodens Greensky; his sisters, Joanne Olson, Tina Olson and Bobbi Olson; his nephews, John "Jon Jon" Smekofske and Paul Smekofske; and his close friend Lou Ann Thompson. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, students, and friends.
