With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James D Mickle (Cloquet, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 56. As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his parents, Denny Mickle and Kathy Mickle; his wife Stephanie Felien; his children, Jack (Ally) and Abby Hoffman (Dawson); his grandchild Maisy; his siblings, Debbie Yadon (Ralph) and Dave (Denise); and his close friend Brent Belich. He is also survived by his in-laws, many nieces and nephews, coworkers, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Journey Church (1400 Washington Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
