He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Ganter (Saunders) and Charles Ganter; his siblings, Donald "Goose" Ganter, Yvonne Lundberg and Geraldine Nynas; and his brothers-in-law, Rodney Thompson, Russell Lundberg and Martin Nynas.
He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Paul Ganter (Tracy) and Jenna Palmer (Marc); his grandchildren, Callie Bassett (Brandon), Alexis, Grady, August, Isaac Palmer and Brayden Ganter; his great grandchildren, Eilee, Oaklee and Blayke Bassett; and his sisters, Charlene Thompson, Susanne Leon (Ken) and Karen Nemmers (Neil). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
