John P. Pilegaard Obituary
The passing of John P. Pilegaard (Cloquet, Minnesota) occurred on September 4, 2026. John, born on November 4, 1942, is remembered by those who knew him. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peder Pilegaard and Marie Pilegaard; and his siblings-in-law, Rick Johnson and Marsha Pilegaard. He is survived by: his siblings, Ron Pilegaard and Karen Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Jenni Lehtinen, Eric Pilegard, Matt Johnson and Ryan Johnson. He is also survived by four great nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Care (1004 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). The military honors will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
