He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Leon and Meldora Leon (Cutland); and his siblings, Marie Lindquist, John Jr. and Ernie Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Sue Leon (Ganter) of Sammy's Pizza; his children, Tim Leon (Julie), Kim Meier (Scott) and Kathy Leon; his grandchild Ajay Leon (Casey Simon); his great grandchildren, Oliver and Penelope; his grandchildren, Bryant Leon, Trinitti Leon (Matt Speegle), Logan Leon (Hannah Farley), Macki Leon and Ashlee Lundquist (Joey); his great grandchild James; his grandchildren, Emma Stay (Scotty) and Alanna Johnson (Lucas); his great grandchildren, Isabella and Elleanor; his grandchild Klaeton Bubb (Bridget Tesser); and his great grandchildren, Brixton, Wrenly and Kolter. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
