He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Bakka and Viena Bakka. He is survived by: his children, Lindsey Hanson (Phillip) and Kimberly Johnson (Scott) of Esko; his grandchildren, Emily, Macy, Hunter, Addison and Anna; and his siblings, Debra Lopez (Gerald) of Lower Gwynedd, PA and Jerry Bakka (David Vipond) of Waverly, PA. He is also survived by nephew, great nephew, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Nelson Funeral Care and Cremation Service (1004 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
