With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine M. Wappes (Cloquet, Minnesota), who passed away on May 4, 2026 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dick; her parents, Alexander Louis and Mabel Cecilia Laveau; and her siblings, Eleanore Ehmann, Gerald, Alex Jr. and Lyle Laveau.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Linda), Loran (Connie), Thomas, Theresa, James (Mary), Chad, Janet Bader (Ryan) and Susan. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Queen of Peace Catholic School in Cloquet.
