She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman R. Anderson and Mabel L. Anderson of Duluth; her husband Frank Gerard; her children, Thomas Gerard and Mary Malvick; her grandson Benjamin Gerard; her brother Norman "Russ" Anderson; her siblings-in-law, Jack Gerard (Marquerite) and Eileen McCarthy (Thomas); her nephew Russell Anderson; and her son-in-law Steven Twaddle.

She is survived by: her children, James Gerard (Ruth) of Elk River, Kathleen St John of Minneapolis, Suzanne Twaddle of Virginia, William Gerard (June) of Esko, Frank Gerard (Mary) of Duluth, Julie Wiezcorek (Thomas) of Duluth, Jacqueline Maldonado of Vero Beach, FL and Michele Gerard of Cloquet; her children-in-law, Rodney Malvick of Duluth and Patti Gerard of Mission, TX; and her sister-in-law Janice Anderson of Duluth. She is also survived by Grandma Normie is loved by 27 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren with one on the way and one great-great-grandchild on the way; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
