We announce the death of Rita L. Saylor of Cloquet, Minnesota, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Niemi and Betsy Anderson (Rose); her husband Steve Saylor; and her siblings, Phyllis, Ginny, Connie and Michael.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Tim; her friends, Bobbie, Jackie and Joan; her daughter Trina Martin (Tim); her siblings, Luree Mercer and Steve Niemi (Connie); her brother-in-law William Bloom; and her grandchildren, Savannah, Sydney, Lily Hanson and Tiana Martin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (515 Skyline Blvd, Cloquet, MN 55720). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
