We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 88, Vendla T. Skutevik of Cloquet, Minnesota passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Viano Virta and Laura Virta (Leskinen); her husband Jim; and her daughters, Tessie Sheff and Jackie Skutevik.
She is survived by: her children, Tamari, Terrance, Jacqueline, Jocelyn, Tammi Martindale (Randy) of Cloquet, Terry Skutevik (Anita) of Cloquet and Josie Lammi (Mike) of Wrenshall, Minnesota; and her grandchildren, Melanie Mobley (Eric), Derick Martindale, Javan Lammi (Kristine), Justin Skutevik (Amanda), Vanessa Eggem (Thor), Alex Sheff, Alyssa Anderson (Cody), Kaylie Lammi and Jade Lammi. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelson Funeral Care and Cremation Service (1004 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
