It is with sadness that the passing of Mae Esther Forsman of Cokato, Minnesota is shared. Mae, born on May 5, 1927, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Mae will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Mae by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Mae is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Mae’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Engstrom and Dora Engstrom; her husband Norman Forsman; her brother LeRoy Engstrom; and her sons, Eric and Tim.
She is survived by: her children, Gaylord Forsman (Melissa), Charlene Bakeberg (Don), Gary Forsman (Debbie), Deanna Abramson (Ken) and Mark Forsman (Shari). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (395 Broadway Ave N, Cokato, MN 55321). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
