It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John K. Larson of Cologne, Minnesota, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John K. Larson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, DuWayne "Pete" Larson and Beverly Larson (Anderson); and his brother Wayne "Gus" Larson. He is survived by: his siblings, Peter Larson (Darilyn) of Cologne, David Larson (Julie) of Hutchinson and Lori Kotars (Mark) of Delano; his siblings' children, Stephanie Larson, Joshua Larson (Heather), Andrew Larson (Stacey), Rose and Laura Karels (Dale); and his aunts and uncles, Vi Anderson, Ole Larson (Linda), Dale Larson and Rick Larson (Maureen). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (141 E 1st St, Waconia, MN 55387). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to New Perspectives in Waconia or Grace Hospice in Minneapolis.
